Waking up before the alarm clock? How to get relaxed and sleep enough at night.

目次

How do you sleep every night?

It takes two hours for me to get to the work.
I get up around 5am to get ready.
I keep waking up before alarm.

Some people would think, "getting up before the alarm? That's great!", But it's not great at all! You'll be feeling tired all day, if you cannot sleep enough.

Is this an actual problem?

I wondered whether this "waking up before alarm clock" is a thing. Here is what I got from internet.

Like apps that promise to wake you gently from your slumber, the body tries to gradually rouse you. In anticipation of the start of the day, certain stress-related hormones are produced during the later stages of sleep, Jan Born, Ph.D., behavioral neuroscience professor at the University of Tübingen in Germany tells Healthy Living.

This is happening to adjust the sleeping circle.
But still, this happens because of some stress-related hormones.
To get a good sleep, get relax before going to bed.

Tips to get enough sleep at night

Workout

Get physically tired so that you can get relaxed at the end of the day. Workout is also good for mental health. You'll be a lot better after move your body.

Diary

Write down what you have to do in the morning and other stuff that is bothering you. Writing will make you think clearly and help forget about bad things.

Eat healthy

A heavy and unhealthy dinner will keep you up.
Here is what a professional suggest about eating for better sleep.

Choose protein foods that are rich in an amino acid called tryptophan. This helps boost the sleep-inducing hormone melatonin. Chicken and turkey, milk and dairy, nuts and seeds are all good choices.

Combine these with rice, pasta or potatoes to help the body get the most benefits from tryptophan. Try a chicken and noodle stir-fry or similar. Drink warm milk with a cracker or oatcake before bed.
