Dry and rough hands never give you a comfortable feeling. No matter how much time you spend on looking good for a much-awaited function, if your hands appear parched, your entire look is at stake. Beautiful hands come with regular care.
Home paraffin wax units can be used to coat and moisturize your hands. Dip your hands in warm – not hot – wax to create a thick coat of wax around your hands. Place your hands in gloves and allow the wax to harden. After the wax has cooled completely, break off the coating to reveal a fresh set of hands.
Use warm — not hot — water and a mild cleanser to wash your hands.[10] Avoid soaps that contain fragrances, preservatives, and sulphates, which are drying. A mild, moisturizing, soap-free cleanser would be ideal.
To dry your hands, pat them gently with a towel or paper towel, and then apply moisturizer immediately after.[12] Avoid using a hot-air dryer as this could further dry out your hands.
If you dye your hair, garden, or do anything else that can dry out your hands, make sure that you wear gloves.
If you have eczema or sensitive skin, you can benefit from wearing cotton gloves when doing household chores like folding laundry or dusting. You can cover these with neoprene or lined vinyl gloves if you need waterproofing
Keeping moisturizers and hand creams on your bathroom counter can be the first step to maintaining your hands. Hopefully, this step will remind you to apply your products on a regular basis.
