How to get out of the bed in the cold morning!

We want to stay in the bed in winter morning...

Here are the tips to get up and be active in the cold mornings!

Set up a coffee maker

Relatedly, programming the coffee maker to go off so that coffee is ready for me in the morning is a big help. The sound of the grinding and the scent of the coffee are big pick-me-ups. If it's still too tough to rouse yourself for a cup, put the pot near your bed. There's nothing wrong with having a bit coffee in bed as long as you actually wake up to drink it and refuse the impulse to linger there for hours.

Decide what to wear in the night before

If you decide what clothes you are going to wear for the next day the night before, you will gain a few extra minutes in bed. Get them out and put them on the radiator before you go to bed, that way they will be warm and snug ready for you to put them on in the morning. You could also make your lunch and pack your bag to save more time in the morning.

Prepare water by the bed

Leave a glass by your nightstand and chug the moment you open your eyes. Not only is it refreshing, but it’s a great way to wake up that metabolism and rehydrate your body. Just think about it, you’ll have one of your eight glasses of drinking water quote done before you even brush your teeth.

Get the light

As you begin to bop your head to your favorite song, resist the urge to hit snooze and moon walk your way over to the window to open the curtains. Even if you can’t resist crawling back into bed, that light will begin to work its magic. “Expose yourself to bright light as soon as you can upon awakening,” said Dr Robert S Rosenberg, a board-certified sleep medicine physician and author of Sleep Soundly Every Night, Feel Fantastic Every Day. “If you live in a state where it’s usually dark and cloudy in the morning consider buying a dawn simulator alarm clock,” suggested Rosenberg. “These clocks begin to give off bright light 30 minutes before your alarm goes off. Several studies have shown that when used, people tend to wake up more energetic and go to bed more easily the following night.”

Take shower

The water and change in temperature will get your circulation going. I also recommend a shower gel with mint or some other invigorating scent to help make you more alert. I've also heard of keeping a peppermint or lemon by your bedside to help facilitate the wake-up process through aromatherapy.

Look forward to something

It’s much easier to get out of bed when you focus on something you actually want to do instead of what you must do. Try setting aside a few minutes in the morning for a ritual that will help you look forward to waking up. Maybe it’s coffee in bed, a shower with a special invigorating soap, or reading the next chapter of a good book. Whatever it is, try to give yourself something that will help you start the day right.

Have a breakfast

As soon as you wake up, make yourself a warm cup of tea or coffee, and a warm breakfast such as porridge. Many studies have shown that a healthy breakfast gives you energy so you begin your day on the right foot. Having a warm breakfast will also give you something to look forward to, which brings us onto our next point…
