Beauty Hacks to Save Time in the Busy Morning! Less Time on Morning Makeup!

目次

Do you have enough time to get ready in the morning?

You never get enough time in the morning. Try these tricks to save some times in the morning!

Grab Some Ice

Gabrielle Union swears by this trick, as does Kate Moss. In other words, you need this in your arsenal stat. On mornings when you wake up resembling a cute yet tired panda, go straight to the kitchen and grab some ice. Wrap it in a paper towel, wait for the moisture to saturate, then glide it over your face to instantly tighten your pores and wake up your complexion. Or, you can do as Moss does and fill your sink with ice water and cucumber, then simply submerge your face in it. Up to you. (Also, if you want to freeze some green tea and rub those ice cubes on your face for the brightening antioxidant benefits, no one will accuse you of being an overachiever.)

Invest on Multitasking Items

Save time by using brown eyeliner pencil, like Bobbi Brown's Long-Wear Eye Pencil in Mahogany ($25), to line your lashes, color your lids, and fill in your brows. And tint your cheeks and lips with a two-in-one stain like Stila's Lip & Cheek Stain ($24).

Use BB Cream

This it also a multitasking item!

Instead of putting on face lotion, SPF, and foundation individually, invest in one great BB cream, like Smashbox's Camera Ready BB Cream ($39). This formula has emollients and optical pearl pigments to hydrate and reduce the look of fine lines, plus SPF 35 sun protection.

Line and Curl at the Same Time

With your eye pencil, draw a thin line right along the edge of your lash curler; you can make the line as thin or thick as you like.

Make sure you get as close to your lashline as possible and press the base of the curler against your skin. Squeeze and release the handle a few times to make sure the eyeliner smudges well into your lashline, and to help your lashes curl.

Easy Contouring Routine

To highlight your face, quickly make a "3" with a concealer two shades lighter than your skin tone. Draw the top line above your brow, middle line above your cheekbone, and bottom line right above your jawbone.

To contour your face, draw a backwards "3" (like the shape of an "E") in a concealer two shades darker than your skin tone. Start the top line on your temple, put the middle line right below your cheekbone, and draw the bottom line underneath your jawbone. Then buff out the two shades, blending the lines completely for a seamless finish.
