Both UVA and UVB rays from the sun can damage your skin, resulting in older-looking and less resilient skin. There is some preliminary evidence to suggest that these chemicals may reduce oxidative damage caused by UV light. In animal models that have looked at simulated UV radiation, inflammation and irritation have been reduced

This stuff is awesome. I am not an advocate of commercial sun screen. I use natural sun screen sparingly. I went to Honduras in April and never burned. My dermatologist recommended it (she also recommended sunscreen). Used this all summer....amazing. Previously even with sunscreen, could not be outside long without getting burned. I am a natural blonde with a fair complexion. Love, love, love this stuff.

When used with sunscreen this product works fabulously! We have used it for years, every trip to Cancun, or the beaches in Hawaii, outdoors or around a pool for the day... It works, an no side effects..

I have polymorphous light eruption, and these pills have helped to reduce the negative symptoms I experience from sun exposure by about 90%. I was able to get out and do more outdoor activities this summer, and it was great :)

Purchased these because I read they help for people with PMLE (polymorphous light eruption); so far, along with 24-hour OTC allergy medicine & sunblock, no breakouts - including the week i was in the Florida Keys - so I"m definitely a fan!
