As the site says, you can apply with your finger or with a brush. I always apply my cream blushes with my finger. My finger immediately turned the gorgeous rosy color. I did have to give it a heavy couple of rubs to get the amount I wanted on my cheek. It was a bit greasy upon application, which I figured to be the nourishing oils it contained. Once applied, it is very easy to blend. The greasy, oily feeling went away after application.

This blush is pretty durable. Once I had it blended on my cheek, there was no wiping it off with a dry finger. I love blushes that have long-lasting wear, because I usually don’t have time to touch-up my makeup during the day. It was nice a cream blush lasted all day on me in this Spring heat.
