Sophisticated Scents. New Fragrance from Jo Malone, Basil & Neroli

It has been 20 years since Jo Malone used Basil as one of the lead ingredients for its fragrance found in the Lime, Basil and Mandarin. Revisiting a favourite, the Basil & Neroli collection infuses a fresh green scent with a tinge of zesty floral note.

Launching on September 1st, the latest from Jo Malone London is set to be their biggest launch this year – and I know loads of people are gonna go nuts for it.

Master Perfumer Anne Flipo decribes Basil and Neroli as “A fresh, sophisticated, sensual floral with green facets—stunning in its simplicity.”

Top notes – Basil
Heart notes – Neroli
Base notes – White Musk

Fragrance Combining

As always with Jo Malone London fragrance, it can be worn alone, or combined with other fragrances to layer them a give a little more depth to the scent and make something a little more bespoke for the wearer. Basil & Neroli can be combined with Wood Sage & Sea Salt for a fresh, woodsy, aquatic twist. It can also be layered with Red Roses to create a rich roses scent with a hint of fresh greenness to it. Finally, Basil & Neroli can be combined with Blackberry & Bay to create a herby scent with greenness and juicy berries.
