-Place coconut oil in a bowl and microwave on HIGH 15-25 seconds until softened.
-Start by adding 1½ cups sugar to the oil, along with the peppermint extract and green food coloring. Mix until ingredients are well combined and food coloring is evenly distributed. If mixture is too wet, add another ½ cup sugar until scrub is to desired consistency.

Makeup Remover

DIY makeup remover ♡ Acne prone skin - YouTube

Hey guys! this video shows you 2 different home recipes for makeup remover which wont cause you to break and also have healing effects for the skin. They are...
'DIY beauty' makeup remover recipe 1:
1/2 cucumber crushed (blended or mushed up)
1/2 cup of milk
mix together and apply a little on a cotton swab or makeup pad then wipe makeup off :). Store in the fridge for as long as the milk is within expiry (usually between 2-7days)

'DIY beauty' makeup remover recipe 2:
jojoba oil
1 capsule vitamin e
mix together in a small container and apply on cotton swab. can be kept in cupboard for months-years :)

Banana Sugar Body Scrub

1 ripe banana
3 tablespoons granulated sugar
¼ teaspoon pure vanilla extract or your favorite essential oil (optional)

Smash ingredients together with a fork into a chunky goop. Don't over-mash or it will become too thin. If you want a banana scrub for your face, reserve some of the banana and mash it separately without sugar. In the shower, pat the sugar mixture and gently massage over your body. For your face, gently massage plain banana there, avoiding the eye area. Rinse off with warm water.

Setting Spray

Witch hazel Setting Spray

1/4 cup of witch hazel
1/2 cup water or rose water

Method – Pour three tablespoons of water or rose water (if you have dry skin) into it.Then add just one tablespoon of witch hazel. Shake the bottle for about a minute and put it in the fridge.

Bath Bomb

4 oz. baking soda
2 oz. corn starch
2 oz. citric acid
2 oz. Epsom salt
1 to 1 1/2 teaspoons water
1 teaspoon essential oil
1 1/4 teaspoon oil (I like coconut or olive oil here)
1-2 drops food coloring (optional)

In a bowl combine the dry ingredients (the first four listed above). Whisk to remove any clumps, corn starch tends to be clumpy. In a small glass jar stir together the wet ingredients (the last four ingredients listed). If you're using coconut oil, give it a quick melt in the microwave or stove top first so it will more easily combine with the other ingredients. Slowly pour the liquid mixture in with the dry mixture, whisking as you go. If you see the mixture fizz or foam, you may be adding the liquid too quickly. Once all the wet ingredients are combined with the dry, take a small amount in your hand and squeeze it together. It should stick together fairly well in one or two big chunks. If it's still too powdery to hold together, just add a tiny bit more water and mix until it does hold together.

Oatmeal Soap

Place 8 cubes of Goat’s Milk Soap Suspension Formula in microwave safe bowl and melt in microwave approximately 1-1/2 minutes on high. (I used a 40% off coupon at Michael’s so I paid $6.00 for the pack) Tip: It melts evenly if you use a knife to cut the individual cubes instead of leaving it in a block.
Add approximately 40 drops of sweet almond oil soap extract (I purchased at Michaels for $2.99). This is about a 6:1 ratio. 5 drops of oil for 1 cube of soap. If you like a stronger scent, I’d use more drops of oil.
Add 1/4 cup oatmeal that has been lightly blended in blender to make grains smaller.
Mix ingredients in microwave safe bowl and pour into soap molds (I got mine at Michaels for $1.99). This recipe fills two square molds and makes 2 nice sized bars of soap.

Bath Salt

An Epsom salt bath soak is detoxifying, can alleviate stress and tension, and does wonders for the skin. Try using scents like lavender, jasmine, and cedar for a calming bath, or citrus scents like grapefruit, orange, tangerine, or lemon for clarity and joy.

3 cups Epsom salt
2 cups sea salt
2 tbsp essential oil
1/2 cup baking soda

Mix the salts together in a large bowl, then sprinkle in the essential oil. Mix well with a whisk or a fork to break up any clumps that may form, then add baking soda and mix well. Pour into decorative glass jars or bottles.
