I broke a wagon wheel and nearly got dysentery on my way to making the epitome of handcrafted soap. Using locally source pork fat, I rendered my own lard that created this hard, clean BAR. Supplemented with castor, coconut, and sweet almond oil, this soap is moisturizing and has a great lather. Beautiful layers are created with cocoa powder and yellow brazilian clay, divided with a sparkle merlot mica pencil line. I used local honey and scented this recipe with a Tobacco and Bay Leaf Fragrance oil, creating nostalgia for a old library with worn in leather chairs and cigars. The whole thing is topped with dried marigold definitely making this not your grandma's soap (but one that they would approve of!).
