Unlike your traditional bullets, these are cut in the brand's signature teardrop shape, then split into two separate colors. The majority of the application surface features the hue meant to fill in most of your lips. The tip of the teardrop, however, features a second shade that doubles as your lip liner. The idea is that you apply it as you would your normal lipstick, and magically get a subtly darker effect toward the edges. This helps create the illusion of a lip contour, which defines the shape of your pout without looking to obvious. You can even blend with your finger to further decrease the contrast.
