☆Have You Ever Applied a Lovely Lipsticks of Melt Cosmetics?☆

Bane is a truly matte, deep black. It’s creepy in the most beautiful way possible! I know there are a lot of brands out there with black lipsticks, but I have yet to see one that has this much intensity. Color payoff is absolutely true to the color it is in the tube, while coverage is totally opaque. When I applied this, I made one swipe on the top and bottom, then dabbed the lipstick on to build up the coverage… That’s the easiest way to get it 100% opaque with this type of color and texture. Bane in particular feels even more matte than some of the other Melt lipsticks and dries down/sets quickly, so dabbing it on and layering, or layering with a brush will give you the smoothest, most even application. With Bane, I got a solid 8-10 hours of wear over MAC Prep + Prime Lip and with a liner. With no liner or primer, I saw some fading after 6 hours or so. There was no staining, surprisingly, which I’ve found with a lot of other matte black lipsticks.

Melt Cosmetics Blitzed is a gorgeous teal green lipstick. For a teal green lipstick, the color is surprisingly wearable. It is very opaque and with one or two swipes over the lips it'll cover the natural color of your lips. I think this color would suite most skintones, and flatter more of those with warm to neutral skintones. I was drawn to this lipstick for the color, I don't have any lipsticks that are close to this color and I liked that it had a matte formula. If you're wanting a fun color, I'd highly recommend it!
